LEADERSHIP SKILLS:
Facilitated distributed programming team (Calgary, Maple Ridge, B.C., and Singapore). Supervised marketing team in the office, at customer sites and at trade shows both internationally and domestically. Supervised CAD programming team.
DIVERSIFIED DRAFTING:
Designed and drafted a wide variety of piping systems for petrochemical plants, pipelines and processing facilities (including SAGD, compressor stations and gas & oil processing facilities). Have knowledge of food and dairy plant designs and the use of sanitary system design software. Have civil/structural experience and have tested, supported, aided in the design, and marketed structural steel and piping design software.
Coordinated the design and drafting of compressor and meter stations for TransCanada PipeLines Ltd. This included budgeting dollars and hours as well as progress monitoring. During the development of a plastic thermoforming business I evaluated market opportunities, developed production tools and processes to produce high quality consumer products. Marketed the product and built business liaisons with distributors and retail outlets. Maintain continued affiliation with the manufacturing of plastic products.
Designed, tested, supported, and marketed the PRO-CAD software family. PRO-CAD is a world leader in piping design software. PRO-CAD offers exceptional piping design tools.
Designed, tested, supported, and marketed the CADPIPE software family. Undertook special development projects as required. Trained users to use both CADPIPE and AutoCAD both domestically and internationally.
Have used CADWORX on several projects including SAGD, compressor stations, gas plant facilities, and a multitude of smaller piping projects.
INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS:
Traveled extensively, both domestically and internationally, to market CAD software. Traveled twice with the Autodesk road show as a third party developer to Asia and twice on Government of Alberta Trade Missions. Arranged for software development in other countries (Finland, Singapore and Poland) as required. Ensured software complied with domestic and international standards. Arranged for agents and distributors internationally and domestically.

- I was Western Canada Motorcycle roadracing champion in the 600 class. I was ranked number 2 nationally.
- I was top 3 in the 750 and 750 superbike classes – while riding a 500cc machine.
- I’ve also raced Hare Scramble on off road motorcycles, motocross, Challenge Cars (RX-7), and have driven in automobile Rally events.
- Multi time winner of endurance races
- Won 24 hour endurance race
Motorcycles, all types and styles. I’ve competed on motocross bikes, enduro bikes and road race bikes.
Automobiles, all types. I’ve driven all models of Porsche from older 911’s to the Carerra GT. I’ve driven 3 different McLaren SLRs, almost every model Ferrari including the F-40 and the Enzo. I’ve driven all models of Lamborghini from the Muira to the current Superleggera including a 1000hp twin turbo Heffner Galardo. I’ve done many laps in the Maserati MC-12. I’ve driven many Corvettes, Vipers, BMWs, Acuras, Lexus, Lotus – pretty much all track worthy cars.
I’ve never crashed a customer’s car. I’ve never put a wheel off in a customer’s car. Not once.
TRACK HISTORY:
I’ve competed, taught or participated in lapping events at the following tracks:
Westwood, Gimli, Shannonville, Race City, Thunderhill, Sebring, Infineon, Miller, The Edmonton Indy Track and Laguna Seca, The Ridge, RAD Torque Raceway, Area 27, Rocky Mountain Motorsports, Button Willow. I’ve also participated at parking lot events (Autocross) and events on go-cart tracks
